Ian set up the Company in 2000 because he knew there was a gap in the market for representation at the highest level. With a lifetime experience in travel with brands such as Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Marco Polo Hotels, Regent International Hotels, Air New Zealand, Pan Am and American Express he is a well-known industry veteran.

Simon joined Avenue in 2002. He has over 16 years experience in the conference, incentive and business travel markets, with great and trusted relationships built within the sector. Before joining Avenue, Simon was responsible for developing the MICE market for the Hong Kong Tourism Board as European Marketing Executive, Corporate Events & Incentive Travel UK & Ireland.

Before joining Avenue, Bruno spent four years working on MICE and events accounts at The Langham, London greatly improving revenue in these areas. Bruno later returned to Sao Paulo, where he was responsible for Fasano’s portfolio of Latin American hotels. On return to the UK, with his excellent list of global contacts, he joined the Avenue team to develop and grow our business.

Dan joined Avenue in 2018 from Kenwood Travel and prior to that he worked at Virgin Holidays. Dan primarily heads up our Centara account and with his extensive product knowledge offers invaluable training and support to our clients. Very much a people person and a huge football fan! Dan runs FAM trips for UK sales teams to Thailand, Vietnam, Indian Ocean and the Middle East.

Gabi has been with Avenue since 2008 and heads up our Milton Keynes MICE office. She looks after the Avenue website, co-ordinates our MICE enquiries, runs numerous marketing campaigns and is instrumental in organising and assisting with a varied number of client-focused sales and marketing events throughout the year.

Lauren has worked for Avenue for over 10 years on several areas of the business. With a background in web writing and event management, she is responsible for the Avenue website as well as project managing a range of events for our clients.

Katie looks after all things financial. Coming from an adminstration and sales background she ensures we are organised and solvent. She is a keen traveller and a qualified dog trainer.

Jean has been with Avenue since the beginning. She has previously worked across such luxury brands as Fortnum and Mason and Boodle and Dunthorne, making sure they ran smoothly and efficiently. A qualified yoga instructor, she also keeps the office calm and positive.
