In May, Avenue Sales and Marketing and DMC Advantage returned from hosting a group of MICE agents in the Algave at 5-star Ria Park Hotel, Vale de lobo. Hosts for the trip were Simon Johnson and Bruno Di Tommazi from Avenue and Simon Burleigh from DMC Advantage.

Twelve of Avenue’s clients from UK MICE agencies attended including: Bee Experiential, Sledge, Freeman XP, CL Venues, Origin Corporate Events, Touch Associates, Eventscape, CMM, Accomplished Events, Sledge, George P Johnson, Banks Sadler and GLOW.

Portugal Travel Team put together a great programme that showed off everything the ‘Golden Triangle’ region has to offer for groups.

Highlights included a crazy golf competition, a visit to Farol Islands and a gorgeous afternoon on the beach sipping cocktails and eating fresh seafood.

Avenue’s MICE group visited the famous Gigi Bar as well as Bovino Steak House, Casa De Lago Restaurant and the Shack for cocktails. The trip concluded with a visit to the Hotel Quinta De Lago for an impressive lunch and site inspection.
